South Bank/Greater Eston base line study was established to establish the baseline position and design a robust strategy for a 25 year longitudinal assessment of the impact of the delivery of a large scale regeneration project: the Greater Eston Regeneration Master Plan. It recorded the journey of regeneration in South Bank to identify the impacts on the area and on local people's quality of life and wellbeing. It also provided a forum for residents and stakeholders to comment on (and potentially influence) the regeneration process.
North Tyneside Council’s £300m PFI scheme has become the third social housing project to close with a wrapped bond in a deal which includes a forward-fix to mitigate cost of carry and enable drawdown over the construction period.
E-MOBILITY: the project aims to increase accessibility by fostering the diffusion of e-mobility and stimulating the use of public and private electric car transport as well as freight across the North Sea Region (NSR).
Community Land Trusts: The partnership with Salford University is HEFCE funded and looks at how Community Land Trusts (CLT) case studies have led to legislation not only on CLTs themselves but initially though the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 and more recently through the Localism Act 2010.
